WASHINGTON (AP) When your water supply gets low, there are two ways to make it through the night: buy a new pump or pay a hefty fine.
If you’re a homeowner, you’ll pay the fine to get a new supply.
But if you’re on the hook for a new water line, like a private water company or a municipal utility, you can get it from the state.
So where does that leave the people who don’t have enough drinking water?
The answer: they’re not paying for it.
A new report from the National Association of Home Builders says that more than half of the people in the United States don’t even have enough water to drink in their homes.
That’s a staggering figure considering the vast majority of Americans have access to at least one source of clean drinking water.
While some states have cut back on water restrictions, some, like Colorado, have gone farther, banning people from drinking or bathing in their own water, and requiring them to purchase a new or expensive water line.
The report also shows that many people don’t know that they can buy water in bulk from a home or other source.
It’s hard to get your water out of the tap if you don’t like the taste of tap water, says Jeff Smith, a vice president with the association.
The new report, titled The Biggest Water Scam in America, comes out Monday.
It calls on states and cities to stop using the water as a political football.
The states and localities in question have been able to tap into a large amount of unused water, which has been sitting in the ground, and now they have no way to make any use of it.
That means that a lot of people who rely on the supply for water don’t realize that they’re being cheated.
And it could put more people at risk, especially young children, who have low immune systems, or older adults who can’t tolerate the high levels of chlorine and fluoride in tap water.
The big question: how much is too much?
According to the report, the average price of a new source of water has more than doubled in the past 20 years.
The biggest increase has been in water systems that supply homes, hospitals and businesses.
Prices of new water pipes have more than tripled, and that’s been driven by demand from cities and businesses, says the report.
In some cities, prices have more doubled, too.
And that’s because consumers who buy new water have been forced to pay a higher price, and consumers who don
